Shira Friedman-Parks (she/her) is a Graphic Designer and Photo Researcher at the Chicago Reader, where she designs layouts, coordinates photography, and makes the occasional collage. Previously, she was the designer of long-form journalism publication Wilder Voice Magazine and worked in print production at Power & Light Press. She has a B.A. in Sociology from Oberlin College. She currently lives in Chicago with her cat, Marcie. Her biggest inspirations are children's books.
